It seems the kiln got too hot too quickly and destroyed two feet of the core sample I was working on !
One of the things I wanted to try was to produce porcelain style , fine pieces of pottery with modern imagery on them of the locations I found in Derbyshire.
Nicky Deeley kindly offered to help by making me a mould. She hadn't made something quite like this one before.
