One seemingly obvious direction to go in would be to produce a series of plates which would be stacked. However, I would be quite worried about weight and stability in a public setting. Not only that I would question structural integrity. It would also require an enormous volume of clay and firing time. It does call to mind childhood walks in the peak district and the shape is an immediate link to the landscape of my origins.
