A really good exhibition with a variety of contemporary work. It has been interesting to see another nations practitioners dealing with similar concerns, whether artistic or material use and process. it reminds me of the concept that nature finds solutions to similar genetic problems in different environments for life. There are artistic 'answers and solutions' to the nature of being human in 'the now' which span national borders. some things in particular are noteworthy, the use of shards of ceramic in new pieces, social commentary and humour (almost like the YBA ) and the notion of the work 'being ' within the physical world and what that entails (light , wieght , colour relationships of forms etc)
