Viewing work at the former captaincy of the port of Aviero

Another location for ceramics at the Biennale. A building spanning the river. Here again I saw interesting reflections of light , along with a selection of contemporary ceramics. One of the main artists in this building showed drawings and prints , it was interesting to see who the Portuguese thought were worthy of expansive representation in the show. Not necessarily someone who I would have held above the others. However, I was able to draw similarities between this artist and myself as an exploration of the struggle to meet the gap between ceramics and painting .
